Michelle Kauk, Founder & President
With more than 15 years of public affairs experience, Michelle Kauk has worked at the federal, state and local levels of government, in addition to the private sector and non-profit space, specializing in strategies for proactive and reactive public policy issues; public relations, media and communications campaigns; crisis communications; campaign communications; coalition building; economic development; and message development.
Throughout her career, she has served as a public policy manager with Meta Platforms, Inc., as an executive with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council as the Senior Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs, and worked for the Town of Gilbert, and the Office of Senator John McCain – in both the Washington, DC and Phoenix offices.
Michelle also worked as the Director of Government Affairs and Research for a niche insurance company in Connecticut, HAI Group, which provides insurance and other special programs for public and affordable housing authorities.
Michelle is a a 2019 Flinn Brown Fellow, the flagship program of the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership. In addition, she is a member of the Make-a-Wish Arizona Wishmakers Council and the Banner Health Foundation Pulse of the City Soirée Host Committee. Most recently, she was the co-chair of the Valley of the Sun United Way Women United Steering Committee. In 2020, Michelle was recognized by the Arizona Capitol Times as one of the 2020 Women Achievers of Arizona, and in 2017 she received the 40 Under 40 award from Development Counsellors International (DCI).
